Week 6
This week was a little less eventful (apart from the Spurs winning the nba finals!) We spent some time screen-washing fossils as well as picking out identifiable fossils from Thomas farm but the majority of our time was spent labeling fossils from the Cedros site. I actually, just found out that the fossils from this site are the remains of what an ancient village cooked and ate at the time. That's so cool, to know that I'm holding pieces of bone that people ate off of long ago. We labeled all the mammal fossils from this site so we started labeling fossils and reptiles, It's pretty cool seeing how different the bones are and learning all the different characteristics that each one has. My project is going well, right now I'm struggling with how to transition the information from lesson to lesson because I want the module to flow well.

Keith; I'm glad the spurs one, you must be really happy. That sounds really cool and kind of gross at the same time, just cause personally I wouldn't want to hold someones left over drumstick. I would love to see pictures of all the different bones you've collected. As for your project i understand where your coming from I struggled with transitioning form lesson to lesson but once i got a little into it the rest just worked out nicely. I'm sure youll get it soon. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGO SPURS GO! I actually live in San Antonio and went downtown "honking" after they won! Anyways, sounds like fun going through ancient bones; I'm kinda jealous. Even if it seems like it was a less eventful week that still sounds awesome. Good luck with your project: I'm working on putting mine together too and am wanting it to be a really helpful part to the museum so I want it to go smoothly!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
